BizTalk Consultant

We currently have an opportunity for a BizTalk Consultant to join our Enterprise Integration Practice which delivers Application to Application, Business Process Management and B2B projects focused on Microsoft and Oracle technology.

Responsibilities:

Edenbrook consultants are adept at using technology to solve business problems. Successful candidates will recognise from their development and consulting experience that their core skill is the application of technology to solve business problems and enable tangible benefits.

The main areas of responsibility are:

Build prototype and demonstration systems
Application Architecture and Design
Complex solution build
Delivering components of solutions
Become a technical expert in a key subject area e.g. Web Services, SOA

Background:

Although it is likely that the majority of people who meet our criteria will come from a large-scale consulting or systems integration backgrounds, we are enthusiastic to help individuals with relevant skills who want to take on the challenges of a consulting role for the first time.

Biztalk consultants typically have:

Proven track record of delivering at least 2 enterprise quality large scale projects in Microsoft BizTalk technology
Very strong technical skills in technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, WINFORMS, XML, MSMQ, COM+. Ability to lead technical teams by example
Good knowledge of SQL*Server. Sound data modelling experience
Proven ability to conduct requirements gathering
Proven understanding of object orientated design
Familiarity with software development methodologies and processes like RUP and XP
Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Practical experience of other Microsoft Server products (SharePoint, CMS etc) would be considered advantageous.

Education:

A relevant degree (or equivalent)
Proven capability in enterprise integration environments
Microsoft certified preferably MCTS: BizTalk Server
