Project / Programme Manager

An opportunity exists for a Programme / Project Manager to join our Project Management practice. Leading enterprise scale programmes and projects at high profile clients you will be working with the latest technologies from Microsoft and Oracle.

Responsibilities:

This role provides for the opportunity to manage teams of consultants, technical architects and client staff on programmes and projects that range from Microsoft custom development to Oracle ERP implementations.

The main areas of responsibility are:

Managing the implementation of complex enterprise scale package implementations or custom development programme/project
Taking responsibility for ensuring work is delivered within agreed timescales and negotiating amendments to work schedules with clients
Leading team consisting of Edenbrook Consultants, Contractors and clients own staff
Lead and assist in the development of new propositions and business development
Involvement in pre-sales activities; giving technical input to proposals, delivering presentations

Although it is likely that the majority of people who meet our criteria will come from a large-scale consulting or systems integration backgrounds, we are enthusiastic to help individuals with relevant skills who want to take on the challenges of a consulting role for the first time.

Programme/Project Managers will typically have:

Exposure to project management, preferably gained within a consultancy environment
Led at least two enterprise scale custom development / ERP programmes/projects
Knowledge and experience of how large technology packages can be used to deliver business benefit
Pre-sales experience

Education:

A relevant degree (or equivalent)
Relevant Project Management certification e.g. PRINCE 2
