Public Sector and Not for Profit

Organisations outside of the commercial sector are not immune to market pressures. Within the public sector, local and county councils are being asked by central government to tighten their spending while at the same time be expected to deliver improved services to their electorate. Not-for-profit organisations must be seen to maximise the effectiveness of the financial contributions of their membership or donors. The result has been an unprecedented level of organisational and technology change.

We appreciate that, while the objectives may be similar to the commercial sector, for the approach adopted to be effective it must be in sympathy with working practices. We have proven our understanding of the particular constraints of this sector on a broad range of projects. These include:

UK Charity	We developed a solution targeted at donators, in order to maximise the return on marketing campaigns. The solution developed is a warehouse that allows the charity to identify categories of people who have a propensity to donate and then determine the best form of communication to encourage donation. The solution is developed on a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 based platform.
Government Body	Edenbrook provide 24x7 support for the business applications used by one the UK's foremost professional regulatory organisations. Our team provide outsourcing support through all stages of a project from analysis, design development and support.
Healthcare Trust	We have introduced applications for HR and Recruitment management into a UK healthcare trust. Through a combination of self service applications and improved processes management Edenbrook are helping the trust drive down the administrative costs of managing its workforce.
Local Authority	Edenbrook has implemented an Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll solution into a local authority. Our Epicentre reporting product has been selected for UK statutory payroll reporting. In addition, our Managed services team provide level 2 and 3 support for the local authority payroll team.
